Engis was the first company in the world to develop diamond slurries. And, today, Engis supplies most varieties of super-precision slurries. Hyprez slurries are mixtures of synthetic mono-crystal and multi-crystal diamonds in a variety of special solutions to meet a wide variety of specific user needs.

Characteristics |
Most popular slurry type; used to mirror-finish general steel, ferrite, mehanite, and ceramic. The OS oil is optimum as a lubricant for this slurry. | Slurry type with excellent cutting performance and surface finish. This slurry type is particularly effective for new materials such as ceramic and ferrite; it is easily washed off after completion of lapping. The S-4889 oil is optimum as a lubricant for this slurry. |
